    Veterinarian

    Dr. Hartman is the founder of Wellesley Animal Hospital. After graduating from the University of Arizona with a BS in Agriculture/Animal Health Science, she knew that she would become a veterinarian and graduated Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. She has resided in the Boston area her whole life and is married with a son, daughter, two rescue pups, and 2 rescue kitties. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her two horses, Alice and Maggie, reading, and gardening.

    Dr. Hedges grew up in New Jersey and worked as a veterinary technician in both New Jersey and New York before attending vet school. She then attended and went on to graduate from The University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Dr. Hedges practiced as a veterinarian in London for an additional three years, before returning to the United States and settling in the Newton area.
